Past Workshops & Groups
Love, Me. - A Poetry & Collage Art Therapy Workshop
Rose are red, violets are blue, come write a poem, and make some art too. This low-pressure, welcoming workshop is for anyone who wants to be a little kinder to themselves, even if that idea feels awkward or unfamiliar at first. You don’t need poetic talent, or glowing self-esteem to participate- curiosity and openness are more than enough. We’ll begin with a short grounding meditation and light journaling to settle in, then flip through old books and magazines to intuitively gather words and phrases that catch your eye. Those “found words” will be transformed into a short poem reflecting moments of appreciation, resilience, or care toward yourself—no forced positivity, no pretending everything is amazing. You’ll then turn your poem into a mixed-media collage on canvas or in a new art journal creating a tangible reminder of your self-compassion practice. All materials are provided.
Nature Mandala: Art Therapy Workshop
Settle into the quiet rhythm of the earth and remember what it feels like to be rooted.
In this immersive art therapy workshop, we’ll begin with a guided meditation on the turning of the seasons—an invitation to honor cycles of change, growth, and release. Then we’ll take a short, mindful walk outdoors to gather natural materials—fallen leaves, seeds, petals, twigs—gifts from the world around us. Back in the studio, you’ll create a personal mandala on a wooden plaque, arranging found and dried botanicals into a design that reflects your inner landscape. No art experience needed. Just bring yourself, exactly as you are.
Finding Gratitude: Poetry & Collage Art Therapy Workshop
Tap into the season of gratitude, using found words to create a visual and poetic expression of inner appreciation. Join us for a creative journey dedicated to gratitude. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore thankfulness through the art of found word poetry and mixed-media collage. We’ll begin with a guided gratitude meditation and journaling to help you connect with your intuition, then dive into old books and magazines to uncover words and phrases that speak to your heart. These “found words” will form the basis of your own gratitude poem, which you’ll then translate into a vibrant collage on canvas or in a new art journal. The workshop will close with an optional sharing circle, offering space to read your poem and reflect with a supportive community. No art or poetry experience is needed—just bring an open heart and leave with a beautiful, tangible expression of gratitude.

New Year Nature Collages Art Therapy Workshop
Welcome the new year with intention, creativity, and connection to the natural world. In this 2-hour art therapy workshop, we’ll begin with a grounding meditation to gently reflect on what we are ready to release and what we wish to invite in as we move into the new year. Then you’ll create your own nature collage on a wooden plaque to make a mandala—a visual expression of your intentions for the year ahead. Mandalas are circular designs found across many cultural and spiritual traditions, symbolizing wholeness, unity, and the cyclical nature of life. As you arrange dried leaves, feathers, nuts, and pressed botanicals, you’ll be invited to move slowly, listen inward, and let the process guide you.
This workshop offers a spacious, supportive environment to honor your path and set meaningful intentions through art and nature. No art experience is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to be present.
Magical Manifestations: Vision Board Workshop
